With the recent downturn in all of the worlds economies, domains have not been immune to declining values either. In the TRAFFIC Down Under auction, I saw some real nice deals go down. I don’t mean deals for the seller, but the buyer.
We all know that when it comes to assets, you try to buy low and sell high. Is it now time to concentrate on acquisitions rather than sales? With the trend towards development, I myself have started to think that it might be more prudent to try and snag up some deals rather than selling. Fortunately domaining is not my main source of income, so I can take advantage of this down market and find some deals of my own.
Although I will still continue to sell some of my domains, I plan on really keeping an I eye out for bargains that might be great sales 3-5 years from now or nice domains for development.
