I’ve used BANS (Build a Niche Store) for the last few years, coupled with EPN to build some pretty profitable eBay affiliate sites. I have a few sites that don’t get much traffic but convert extremely well and I have a few that get a ton of traffic but don’t convert hardly at all.
From everything I’ve read, it appears that the average PPC will be between .04 per click on the low side to .26 on the high side. Based on my numbers from the last few years, I don’t think that I will see much of a change in my revenue. Unfortunately, if you target high ticket items, you will probably feel some pain. I’ve always made more with EPN on these sites than I have with Adsense.
If you’ve never tried EPN or BANS, I suggest you take a look at them and build a few “long-tail keyword product” sites and give it a try. One of my best producing domains is a BANS site.
