Can we move on now?

Wow… I have been blogging for about 2 months now about my passion for domaning. I have been following a lot of the top bloggers as well as some of the more obscure ones. I do all of this in hopes of learning more about the industry and to share my input when I have something I think might be useful, whether its just an opinion or something I deem helpful. One thing I have found disturbing is all the bickering going on between domainers. He or she said this, he said that, yada yada yada.

Is there anyone here that hasn’t done something stupid? Is there anyone here that hasn’t made a mistake? Is there anyone here that at one time or another, been wronged by someone or pissed someone else off? I know that I’ve been guilty of all of the above before. I hope that if if I do anything stupid or if I offend someone that they let me know, but in a proper way, not by spewing it out in a blog or forum.

I would like to think that we are all professionals trying to universally promote our industry to the rest of the world. This is a bit difficult if we are wasting our time sniping at one another. I propose that if you have an issue with a fellow domainer that you take it up privately and leave the blogs and forums for more relevant information that will help us all monetize our domains and promote them. Lets face it, 2009 is not going to be an easy year for anyone. We are all going to have to put our differences aside and help each other as we navigate these changing times. Lets talk about making money!
